I love to take photos, especially at special events in Vermont. I've been taking photos professionally for more than 35 years and with the advent of digital photography a whole new world opened up for me.

I especially love photographing special events such as theatre, festivals, celebrations and community gatherings. There is a sense of responsibility and joy that comes with taking photos of something that may never happen quite the same way again.

My work captures those fleeting moments in time and gives those people creating or participating in the event a way to see themselves having fun, creating art, accomplishing a goal.

Over the years, I've been published in the Boston Globe, Vermont Life, Champlain View, Travelhost, The Burlington Free Press, Seven Days, Vermont weekly newspapers, many specialty publications, numerous books and many websites.
